Official Beyond Cruise to the Mountains + BBQ Thread!

THIS IS STILL A GO!!! WE'LL FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENS AFTER EVERYONE MEETS AT THE SOUTH LOCATION. IF WE CANT CRUISE MAY BE WE CAN DO SOMETHING ELSE, BUT WE'LL SET UP ANOTHER CRUISE IF WEATHER IS PREMITTED IN THE FUTURE. ITS BEST FOR EVERYONE TO SHOW UP SINCE U NEVER KNOW IF WE'LL DO THIS AGAIN OR WHAT OUR DECSION WILL BE TILL WE ALL MEET!.... THX Vince
It looks as though some people are iffy about going. Additionally, we haven't heard much from most of the other people who said there were going.
I just got off the phone with Vince, and both of us came to a conclusion that it's too late to cancel. It doesn't look as though most of the people who signed up for this event would be able to read any notification of cancellation in ample time.
Therefore, tommorow's event is still a go. Well, atleast up to the point where we are meeting up at the two locations. Depending on the turnout and a common consensus, we will decide what to do from there.
Basically, we're still meeting up at these the two locations at the same time. However, our destination thereafter is subject to change.
We may or may not do anything, depending on the circumstances. In the most likely case, we will not be heading to Elbow Falls under these circumstances, and that would have to be changed to another time (next week?). In anycase, a few of us will be at the locations to report the situation.
I will be bringing the merchandise to the locations, so you can pick them up at either one.

-Time: Leaving around 11:00am at south meet location
-Destination: Elbow Falls

- Meeting spots:
***North: Deerfoot mall at 10:15am
-- EAST side of the mall, Wal-Mart's OLD east side, the most empty lot.
the pack will leave at 10:30am, plz dont be late and try to get there by 10:15am.
we will leave Deefoot mall and take Deefoot all the way down to the south meet location, which is Home Depot in Shawnessy.
If you dont know how to get to Deefoot mall, plz contact me.
( I think its reasonable that we meet at Deefoot mall then take Deefoot down to Shawnessy, its in the way to Elbow Falls anyway, just back tracks a bit on 22X)

As the north pack arrives at Home Depot, everyone will leave at 11:15 to start the cruise down to Elbow Falls. It should take approx 30 mins to get there.

Plz Bring:
- Food (enough for you and your friends, may be more, share your wrealth!!!) BBQ style
- Stuff you need to eat and set up a fire, like cups, plates etc.
- Portable BBQ if u have one, just in case there are no fire pits there... which im pretty sure there are.
- Walkie talkies, we will put them on the same channel as we meet up. Here is your chance to put them in good use.
- Bike, some people metion that theres a good trail there, this is an option.
- Stuff to do: Football, soccer, baseball, etc. Whatever u can think of that we can do there.
- Stuff to light a fire and keep it running, i forgot what their call.... i'll bring some as well...
- Woman: as many as you can, it never hurts to have more!!!!!!
- Friends: Bring "some" friends along! should be fun, just remember that this is a "beyond" cruise.

Other IMPORTANT Notes:
- Behave yourself, dont let other members down, this is a group event, not a time for you to show off. The last thing we need is just dumbass ruin the day for us.
- North people DONT have to meet up at the north spot but perfers that you do. You can just get to the south location yourself but make sure your there and on time.

NOTE: BEYOND LANYARDS, STICKERS, T-SHIRTS AND HOODIES.
I will be bringing these items to the cruise. There will be alot of lanyards and stickers, as it's easy to fit a tonne of them into a small box. First come first serve for these! There is no need to PM me to reserve stickers or lanyards.
If you wish to purchase a t-shirt and/or hoodie, please let me know in advance so I know how many to bring and what size. I will bring a couple extras regardless of the order. Extras will be on a first come first serve basis.
I will try my best to honour your order, but you should know that all orders are subject to availability. But if we have it, and you want it...you got it!
