As long as the chassis is straight, sounds like you got a deal and a half.

sounds like an awesome deal. I got a civic a couple weeks ago for $100, all it needed was a rad. Mind you it was a late 80's model, but its still good for a winter beater.

damn good deal. even without an engine that would be a good price i think
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

I had a civic once for a winter beater. 84 with manaul choke, man what a piece, all it needed waz a muffler. Picked it up for free and when I waz done with it we folded the hood in half, bent the feders out sidewazy like wings and I threw the batterie through the windshield. I love winter beaterz!!

My buddy had a Pontiac Optima that he drove for a winter. Wouldn't clutch when shifting, e-brake around every corner etc... When spring rolled around we took a couple cinder blocks to her...
