    Default Taking steering wheel off a chevy beretta

    I took the airbag out then took off the big bolt but the steering wheel wont pull off still... would like to get my steering wheel on tonight so any ideas would be appreciated....

    generally after the bolt is off u just need to pull. its just being held in by grime and age.

    u can either get a tool called a steering wheel puller, or u can just yank on it and swear at it until it comes off. ive pulled a few wheels and i prefer the latter method.

    I've pulled a couple beretta wheels off.... used a puller both times.... bent the bolts on the puller both times but got the wheels off......

    I'd suggest investing in a $15 puller.
