not that i'm going to cut my rebar or anything but how dangerous is it a cut rebar in front end collisions?

    I think its kinda dangerous.
On my old car, my body shop took off both rebars without telling me and I ended up getting rear ended, and I hit the car in front of me. The car behind me, no damage. The car in front of me, no damage. My car, written off.

Its the bumper support. Honda guys take them off all the time to make room for big FMIC's. Its not really that good to take it out but its done all the time. I may have to take mine out to make room for my fmic this weekend too so well see.

there is a proper rebar that can be purchased from the dealership that doesn't need any cutting but my buddy can't afford it at the moment cause he's a broke college student. so he's going to chop... errr i mean "modify" his rebar for now till he can afford to buy the correct one.

I wish I could show you guys my "new" front bumper support in comparison to the old integra support.....the JDM one is about 1/8 the size of the old one, not a whole lot of protection....but DAMN it looks so much better!
