I was looking at a full size (40-50") one at London Drugs just the other day. It was at the Brentwood store. The cheapest one was on sale for $39.99 and up from there. Let me know if you find any others good and cheap!

If you want a good tripod you have to deal with the cost. They aren't cheap. The whole point of a tripod is to keep the camera steady. Anything that is "cheap" will not do that very well. I got mine from The camera store, I paid $150 for mine but you can get a decent one for less, just more then 50$

the Sony Store sells a couple of models for around the 100 dollar mark, and they are great...very stury, and a quick release foot and the nicer one even has a lil levelling bubble...

i have one, it will work as a tripod, the panning up and down smoothly thing is broken (you have to screw and unscrew to move it) , the left to right works fine, but will work, im sure, for what you want.

i was asking $5 for it, but if youve got anything computer, crx or ??? to trade, you can have it.

let me know, its going away by the weekend.

look at Manfrotto tripods. they are really really nice.

They may cost you a bit more, but honestly the cheaper ones shake and move around. There are some from Manfrotto that are really nice and light weight.

look on ebay or somewhere. You will find a deal.

    hope this helps.
