Thanks! The wiring diagram shows a diode as a component to the DRL system as well. Where would this be, and which of the two (the module or the diode) is the best suspect for inoperative DRL? How can I test these components? Eagerly awaiting a response . . .

Hi,
The DRL photo resistor is located in the centre of the dash, on top above the radio. The diode assembly is located in the centre of the instrument panel, above the A/C module. Another thing to test is the park brake circuit. If the park brake wire is grounded, the module will not turn on the DRL.
The most likely suspect, other than the bulbs, is the module. Next the photo resistor, and then the diode.
To test the photo resistor, use a test light, and test the lt. green/black wire. Should be ground. The yellow black should be ground as well if it is dark enough to trip the photo resistor. You can use electrical tape to cover the photo resistor while testing.
Hope this helps
