Why would you want to put a cat IN?
You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
Does the Subaru rally car have a cat???
So if leave it out, you have NO cat at all?
If it were me, I'd get one, give a little performance for some environmental peace of mind.

Screw the cat, well, not literally, unless of course you're into that stuff, or if you're Leo
for now i'm going to leave the system catless. too poor to afford a decent high flow cat. probably get a cheap resonator welded into the midpipe next week to keep the noise down. i guess i'll find out how loud my car really is on saturday.
Man the car is going to be soooo loud! Turbo fixes all though!

well i got one installed because it is against the law not to have one. Also i needed to change my insurance so i needed to get the car inspected again, so i got one.
better check the lawbook again. there is no law that says you have to have a cat on in alberta.Originally posted by BKS8

but if your going turbo, having no cat would be benificial to you.
honestly new car run well with new cats. If there is one in there keep it. If not let your concience and wallet descide.
without cat, do u get the flamming effect out of the muffler?
or u just need a richer fuel??
?????
Turbo didn't quiet my car down at all jsut added the whistling sound, my car is LOUD!
Like blow your ear drum loud, don't get me wrong, ditch the cat.
