I have a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder 4X4, and recently had the rear upper control arms replaced to fix a severe swaying. The mechanic that replaced them said that the lower contol arms where looking pretty bad two, and should also be replaced.
Is there a reason that they replace the entire control arm, and not just the bushings? I think I can do the lower arms myself, but if I can get away with just replacing the bushings, I would save myslef a bundle! (Already spent nearl $500 on the upper control arms!).
Thanks for your time!
