window mesh blocking air for grille?
ok i know people use like aluminum mesh for doing grilles. Well i used dark window screen instead. To make it not so see thru i overlapped it so its not that transparent. I could still blow thru it.
I was jw if it might deflect air or stop air from getting under the hood and cooling it down? Anyone have anything on this?

Dark window screen???Damn thats ghetttttto, but I doubt it would block any air from getting thru unless u have used many layers....but even still..air would still be able to get into ur hood from underneath or other places..ur hood isnt airtight

dude, putting a little window mesh won't prevent that much air from getting to your engine bay and radiator. just think about all these guys that are putting massive intercoolers in front of their rads and are not having any issues.
