    Default Throttle Body Connection

    Hey all,

I'm working on a custom intake system for a friends car. I need to know what to connect a 3" pipe to the throttle body with. Any ideas? Something I can pick up at Canadian Tire or something? Leo? A little help?

I was thinking I could just cut the stock rubber tubing that is connected to the tb, and put the piping through the other end, but I don't want to permanently alter it....

    Thanks for any help!

I'm not using pvc. I've heard that PVC can let of a toxic gas when heated. I have 3 inch stainless steel bends that I'm using. But I need to connect it to the throttle body... somehow...

But what is the clamp attatched to? I can't clamp the metal pipe to the metal throttle body, cause it won't be an airtight seal... i need some kind of rubber or something in between, that i can put the clamp around...

Get some heavy duty silicon hoses from Detroit Diesel. Buy them by the inch.
