Dodge Ram SRT-10 vs Ford Lightning

personaly i like the ram alot better, cuz it has a viper motor in it, if the ford put a ford GT motor in the lighting then i would think about likeing the lightning.

I thought the lightning had the Triton V8 which essentially is a Mustang GT engine. I could be wrong though.

I like the Ram SRT-10 as well, regardless of the engine in the Lightning. You can't have as much fun with that kind of a horsepower and an auto tranny

the lightning has a 5.4L supercharged engine, not a mustang motor by any means

nope, it used to be a 5.8L, but those lightnings sucked, the new ones have alwayse been 5.4L s/c

Speed doesn't matter to me as I find dodge trucks to be the 4th ugliest vehicle on the road.. besides the #1 PT cruiser, #2 aztec, #3 neons

so quite obviously I'd get the ford.

I used to sale cars for ford and they suck. Ford always has the lowest hp and torque and there finishing touchs are lame. i have a 2001 Dakota sport 4x4 that will eat any ford out there(besides the lighting) Ford doesn't build good trucks i owned a 202 ford f150 XTR and put about three grand in the engine and still could not keep up with stock dakota's or rams

Oh yeah.... there is no way in hell that your dakota would be able to take on a ford diesel superduty, your dakota wouldn't even be able to keep up. As for the '02 XTR, the guy probably didn't even know he was supposed to race you.

ford trucks are big to make it look like there is alota power, but in reality they only have bout 70 more hp then the other trucks(this goes for the ford that are above f-250)
