Default How low is TOO low?

Just got my Civic back last week and I dunno if I'm 100% happy with the suspension mods. I had a set of H&R springs put on that dropped the ride by 40mm, (dunno what that is in inches) anyway, they've given me about a 60mm drop, it doesn't catch anywhere. But I'm having a few Kg;s worth of audio in the boot installed as well as I'm worrying about settling. Should I go and say put it up to the original specs or leave it as is???

I once saw a low-rider in California that was so low, sparks were coming out from underneath the car as it was driving. And that was before it hit the speed bump! Hahaha! I think that'd be considered too low

I think low for Calgary is not THAT low, we got some mad Pot holes here, i cant imagine hitting one of those in a lowered vehicle @ 80 or 90 KM/h. Road kill if you ask me, btw ur pic looks just fine, dont do any more :P

Actually your car is in the 'nose bleed' section.

    This is low.

    Gauteng is shitty for pot-holes.

I use to live in Pretoria, the main road in front of parliament had big fuckin' potholes. Pretty shitty, anywho should be alright. Speed bumps are big but gradual so might be okay.

    looks nice though

That's not low. that 2" drop is a good drop for Civics. I was perfectly fine with my drop, until my body kit dropped me an extra 2".
Now I have a 4" drop that gives me 4" of clearance, which is pushing the limit. Gotta be really careful around everything, and avoid certain parking lots like the plague.

man that's wild..........well I've left the car the same height and i guess it's staying that way........just a bit to get used to it. My previous car was a 1970 bug with about 10 inches of ground clearance.

The main thing that I had to get used to was driving at an angle up enterances to parking lots etc etc. Advantages WAY out number the disadvantages.

I had a lot of scraping problems when I had 4" of clearance.

Not it's at about 4.5 to 5" and I don't scrape as much. So it can be amazing what that extra 1/2 inch can do.

    Here's a pic when there was 4"

Track days were worse. I didn't scrape, but I'm quite surprised I didn't.

This was with my suspension set as stiff as possible
