Ford launches 420hp Mustang Race Car

Internally known as Boy Racer, the car is powered by a 5.0-liter crate engine producing 420 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. Dan Davis, Ford's director of racing technology, said the Mustang racer is aimed at drivers interested in showroom stock-type series.

Way cool. I love how they used the paint job (ie blue Le Mans stripes on White) from the original Shelby GT350's, which were also factory race cars.

Saw one at the ford dealership by marlborough yesterday then later someone came to my work to register the first one in calgary (or so he said). Anyway they're beauuuutiful
