Howard Stern coming to Sirius Satellite Radio!

Stocks shot up 17% on news already. This is the "killer app" for satellite radio.

Unfortunately, because of the CRTC, we'll be criminals for listening to Stern. I'll figure out a loophole by 2006 haha.

I was actually researching this stock a few days ago but I decided to pass on it.

haha, I wanted to buy in on either Sirius or XM when Stern got booted off Clear Channel, but I had no idea which one he was going with. Rumors suggested Sirius... should've listened to rumors!

Just keep watching the stock... the new 17% jump is from people buying in on the news. It should settle back down when people slowly forget. He's not on till 2006, so there should be some time to get in on the stock at a reasonable price, and by 2006 increased sales numbers will get you a good return.

This deal *should* make Sirius profitable, so I'd say it's a good investment if you can get in cheaply. XM's gonna lose a LOT of marketshare, Stern has an insane amount of listeners.

Back to the entertainment aspect of it... the Stern show on Sirius should be very entertaining. No more FCC radio regulations, he can use the good words now! No more beeping out the words "tits" haha.

Next, HBO needs to sign him on for the TV show. Enough of this E! channel censorship crap!

I will definately keep my eye on it. I used to either always watch his show on DTV when I lived in Lethbridge or catch it on the radio there.
