    Default same problem

Hey ET78, I have the exact same problem.. i have an alpine 9811 and for some reason whenever i turn up my 2 12's past volume 15, the deck turns itself off, and resets...

so this is how you fix it? just check wiring? or is the deck itself messed up?

    thanks

That popping sound is as a result of a bursted load of 12 volt power being sent to your amp and subs on initial startup, it is simply a grounding issue. Check ALL of your grounds and tighten all connections. The deck shutting off sounds like it is dealing up too much power, I would also make sure of your speaker connections as well.

Take it to Shaun at Econosound...its a seedy joint, but that guy can fix pretty much anything, and if he says it cant be fixed...it probably can't.
