Watch out for glow sticks and flailing arms.

be prepared to get a lower attendance than expected... and having to pay for the party out of your own pocket

I know you have to have a specific amount of emergency crews (police, ems, fire etc) for certqain amount of people, same with liquor liscence, and all city bylaws affecting major events...

I'm assuming this will be an event for young adults with drinking? Liquor licences ect are also needed, and where there's drinking, there is fighting and hurt people, a first aid person/paramedic might be a good idea

yeah taking all that into consideration, planning an event with out the Fuzz would be like looking for trouble then finding it, then realizing you just found yourself in a world of shit

but will the police be willing to watch over an event or do you need to contract them out? as for a EMS team? i thikn so long as the event can be kept under controll there wont be a need for EMS unless someone has a heart attack, or forgets to take thier insulin
