So iam thinking there's a short in the circuit somewhere?? does no one know how to locate that short, because i'll called the honda dealerships and the earlies time to book an anpointment is in 2 weeks.. so if anyone know's how to fix it. I'll gladly pay for service charges.

Definately a short somewhere. Pull the cluster, and take a look around for pinched/skinned wires. It would help if you had somebody familliar with the electrical in those cars, so you could meter out all of the wires, to check for which one is grounded that shouldn't be.

i don't know if you want to do this with your car or not but... If you take a piece of small wire and touch the 2 contacts on the fuse panel where the blown fuse was and hold it there, you will see smoke come from around the area where the short is. I used this method on my sunbird. I had the same problem with blowing fuses all the time and my temp gauge and my alternator stopped working. I found the short right below the shifter where there is a light inside of a slider that lights up a small orange dot to indicate the current gear. The wire for the light wore out (i'm guessing from all the sliding LOL! ) It touched a piece of metal in there and that made the short. So anyway, after all this BLAH ... You can try that if you'd like, but don't hold the wire on too long, you will fry something! HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
