    Default Training for football.

So our Flag Football season is over and done with for the year, we lost the championship game.... And our team will be moving up a couple of divisions for next year. So I play center on the team, and if anyone knows the league playing on the O and D line is physically tough, I am looking for a good off season training schedule I can follow. I am 6'-2" 230 basically want to stay the same weight but add muscle. I have a good idea of what to do but any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Steve

Your plan should be to bulk up, then cut a month or two before football season (If you want to stay the same weight).

Don't bother with a clean bulk, just bulk, bulk, bulk. You'll never notice results if you don't eat.

If you have specific questions let me know.

Flag football? What is the point? You have to grab people's flags.

Yes, instead of tackling you grab flags off the players belt. And in this league it's full contact on the line. Pussies need not apply.

Yeah it is the Calgary Flag Football League. The contact on the line is just as it would be in tackle, a friend of mine who plays up in Div. C has a ex Dallas Cowboy lineman on the team, and also has Jackie Kellogg. This isnt a league for wimps.

Check it out, the league is always looking for more people, there is over 70 teams for this year and should be more next year.
