I thought william bell was newer? I was listening to worst comes to worst 4 or 5 years ago, though william bell came out 2 years ago? Maybe I just missed the wave with him though...

close! i should have put in the 2 hip hop songs that uses that sample as well. All i know is one of them is one step by killah priest, but that isnt the right one. Any one have any other ideas. I think there may be more then 2 other songs with that beat but im not sure.

well, one is a remix, which would be the Growing pains remix, probably more as well, Dilated is probably the first one to use that exact beat with samples from other genre's since Alchemist provides the beats and he's one of the best...

i don't know, that's just what I got from the CD.. the William Bell sample and the Mobb Deep sample.

EDIT: here's what it says in the cover. Contains elements of "I forgot to be your lover", performed by William Bell, used under license from Fantasy, Inc., and contains elements of "survival of the fittest", performed by Mobb Deep, used under license from Loud Records.
