Suicide today...
Today near forest lawn, ernest morrow and jack james, someone commited suicide.
He apprantly hung himself on a tree. This morning there were cops all over the place. And now we have recived a newsletter stating that he did die, and it was a hanging. he wasn't a student, i heard that he was 26?don't quote me on that but yeah. Its wierd how things can happen, right behind your school too.

That's too bad. People should try and get help before taking their own lives. I hope no little children saw this.

exactly. suicide doesn't solve anything. it just causes more hurt and pain for those who know you. when i was in grade 11 i knew a kid who committed suicide. i was pretty good friends with him actually. it hurts to think that he turned to that before he turned to his friends/family etc.

a girl i went to elementary/jr high and hs with also committed suicide. i would've never imagined her going through so much grief.
i also think that the guy who killed himself by the schools was sick. why would he do that with so many ppl around. that's being not only selfish to his family and friends...but to other people as well.

Suicide is not cool
statistics say that 86% of people who dont die after committing suicide immediately want to live...very sad to think that your only hope of getting rid of the pain is to do that...
Dont ever give up, promise someone you care about that you will never let it come to that and then go for help if you feel lost. If you promise someone you truly care about then you're more likely to follow through with holding up your end of the promise...

true mel, i was going to quote that as well... im going to elaborate...
most people who commit suicide have chemical imbalances in their brain. they are not able to think rationally. Give the guy a break. He was obviously more tortured than we can imagine.
Now im not condoning this, but alot of these situations are, to put it bluntly, unstopable. Though thats not entirly true, there are drugs and concelling and such, but these folks never really realize they are having a problem that they can get help with.
Too bad though. a friend of mine shot himself when we were in grade 10. that was a wierd time...

That sucks. I still don't know whether to believe that the suffering that the loved ones go through from one's suicide makes the dead person selfish for taking the easy route, or the loved ones selfish for thinking that their current suffering after a suicide is more then what the victem was experiencing.

with a growing City Comes growing problems What once was a Innocent, low crime town is now becoming just like any other big City I really thought hat calgary was gonna stay the way it was back when i was in Elementary, but i guess i was wrong, it to bad that another HUman decided to take his own life
back in high school i always used to try and talk and be friends with those who saw themselves as being less fortunate, not to say that i was the all having guy, but a little means so much to menatly unstable People, this just goes to show that bully'in is wrong.

i just thought i would give you the FYI....... some stoners at jack james were out smoking a joint at 8 o'clock this morning when they saw a man hanging from a tree.........he was in his early twenties...........you could actually see him hanging from inside the school windows.

I agree with Jeff on this one. Most people who commit suicide are mentally ill though.
Just thought i'd throw in some weird info, read somewhere that Dentists have the highest suicide rate out of all professions.
