Default What do you do with 10 yards of unusable pre preg carbon composites..

Recently I got 10 yards of pre impregnated carbon fiber that was forgotten in hercules aircrafts fridges for 12 years... unfortunately It lost most resin and is now pretty hard it can hold nooo complex shapes... except flat ones.... so there it is not much use car wise... so what do you do with it... make random $#%@ of coarse. =)

Before you say it is a waste... I only paid 50 bucks for 10 yards of this useless stuff... =P

The result of a lot of boredom... One expensive coaster. =)

That was actually my original idea I was going to get a ikea 19.00 table and then wrap the whole thing in carbon fiber... I may still do it but it was not working the way I wanted to because it would not flex hardly atall... maybe that will be the next project. =)

I found that I can bend it a little if I heat up the carbon fiber... it will definitely take a looot more time.. but it is definitely on the list.

no particular reason I had a couple of designs that I made... it was just the one I finished first.. I also had a japanese dragon.. a bonsai tree.. and some others I am still playing with... I just did this one because it was the easiest one to make.
