what kind of amp does it take to run this sub? i have a 300watt phoenix gold 2 channel amp, if i bridge it, will this amp be enough to power this sub adequately?

your amp will work fine with the version #1 "12W6" sub. that is the perfect amount of power your sub needs.

I doubt it would work with your present setup man..

You also have the speakers hooked up to your amp.

It'll be fine with any size sub, as long as you have the amp dedicated to the sub - if you have the speakers and sub off of one amp, its gonna be a hard to get the full potential of the sub.
