    Default wont rev past 3000 rpm

    posted b4 tryin again

    did a swap form my 4th gen put in a 1993 dx motor so i had to do the mpfi swap as well wire in a new dizzy and injectors and ecu

    now it wont rev past 3000 and my ecu says code 4 (crank angle sensor) which is supoposed 2 be the dizzy i ahve tried 2 dizzys and double and triple checked the wiring anyone help??/

    I know you've checked over everything repeatedly, so bear with me cuz I don't know the specifics of your swap. Did you use the 93 dx harness with your 90 bay harness? is everything pinned to the ECU correctly?

    dizzy+distributor i thought that was common knowledge

    and Primerdrift i used my old 90 harness and switched the 91 si ecu and dizzy inwirin seems all right going to the ecu


    maybe one day someone could come and double check but it all looks right

    Did you swap the pins at the ECU?

    Sorry for the dumb post eeSeen, I was in a hurry. I was going to say If you have both harnesses, retest the bay connector to distributor connector on both harnesses, if they are the same pins then that eliminates that. Then move on to engine bay harness to ECU, if the pin out matches your wiring diagram check for any pins in the ecu connector and bay that might not be pushed in all the way.
