    Default Daytime running lights...

Just wondering if anyone has a "hookup" to turn off my daytime running lights, and enable the top down with remote feature. I know it is somewhat illegal to disable it but worth a shot.

I am considering dumping my ECU file and sending it to rennsport in LA for some custom Tweak as the have a GT 1 now.

    Thanks.
    Omes.

To further that if anyone has a hook up to enable the remote windows up on my E46 let me know. I used to have it and when Bavaria updated the software in my car they somehow disabled it. Now they claim they can't get it back.

ya clem, i know. thought i would just try it out.

Remember modic is just the computer that does it, i think when i updated my ECU software that they are on revision 14.1 for my car, but rennsport is has an ECU programmer working on a rennsport version for the stg 2 upgrade and I have the cable, so I will be sending them my ecu file they will make the adjustments and i will reflash my ecu.

The DRL option is available in the US

and the top down feature with remote is available on euro spec cabs. waiting for Samirs response.

since they are not the dealer I am sure they will accomodate me.

Yes but I think you fail to see the logic in the situation. ECU/DME controls engine functions which have nothing to do with DRLs. I believe the programming for DRLs is in the LCM (light control module)

    Got Rennsports response:

yes they can disable the DRL's but you have to have the car there in person....not going to drive to LA! so i am stuck with them

The top down feature is only avail to eurospec cars.

So i guess i will wait for itop.
