K, I got the drags down a little better, I'm kinda back to winning again.

I'm pretty terrible at drifting tho, any hints for that?

i have problems with drags, i'm leaving those till the end.. for drift I just go at a reasonable pace, and just drift as much as i can.. after i find that I have the most points then I just rip through the course so i can finish before the time elapses.

This game is really very frustrating when the drift scores for the other players are like 200K + and the best you can get in is 140K.

Also they made it harder to drag... but hey I cant complain, the price was worth is alone for the ability to tune YA BOYEEEE.


Its disheartning that its already tuned pretty much PERFECT or as best as the computer alows before you can tune... so it sucks when you pull 10 HP less then what it was at, yet you think its tuned to be better... althought the ability to setup the car purely for mega asshole quick acceleration, or top speed, with teh tranny and turbo and ECU = just so cool. Dont even get me started on how much i like the ability to control over/under steer and all the tuning to teh suspension... only beef is with NOS, I would have expected the tuning to have smaller dividents in the notches... the difference in one movement is just astronomical, I dunno its just me being picky...

Great game... maybe in the next one (if there is???) maybe an option to have a buton to actuate a clutch... just makes ripping around the city so much more fun... trying to d-clutch down shift would make you a computer PIMP. On top of that it just delineates the car enthusiast from the car game nerds.

EA GAMES the sequel is about 10X better then the last game... I hope the trend continues.

well actually doublepostwhore EA was considering a clutch button. SRS(NAMCO) had the idea first but as the final development came to they scraped the clutching in the game.

I recorded videos!
i used fraps and recorded the replays of a few of my races, who wants to host them!?

i sure as hell don't want too cuz you'll all rape my bandwith so hard...

file sizes are:

vid 1 26 megs - 3 mins 53 seconds (sprint)
vid 2 13 megs - 2 mins 19 seconds (outrun)
vid 3 14 megs - 2 mins 12 seconds (drag)

I recorded the drag one as i was actually playing... yeah.. not the greatest idea, cuz alot of frames were dropped and the video is slower than it should be... aw well, still a sweet vid.

i messed up my shift timing on it cuz the computer didnt register my keys since it was laggin so hard with the recording. i kept the recording for the triple threat finish!!

Find the shops, then stage 2 wil begin, i had the same problem, but just finished stage 2..

ive found every single shop but the guy keeps calling me and keeps saying

yo money i heard theres some action going down in beacon hill area etc...

he keeps saying a different place everytime he calls and ive looked on every single street for races theres nothing left!!!
i have every single shop except those ones on the bottom left of the map but i cant get those cuz that part of the city is locked

what do i do?

It goes into the "clipboard" buffer. So just open up MS Paint or whatever graphics program and then click Edit then Paste. The print screen button acts like selecting Copy in a document, just have to paste it somewhere now and save as a file.

I just got my Supra and decided not to buy the IS300... do you make enough money to upgrade each car you buy? I'm thinkin of not upgrading my 240SX anymore and just upgrade the Supra..

You have to get a certain visual rating and then u get on DVDs and magazines then u will see more races.. AKA... rice that beyotch yo

Dammit, I wish I had a better PC Setup, I am running at 640X480 No detail, and still lags sometimes.

I have BT open, but still sucks. I have a Athlon 2000+, and a GF4 MX440.

I am just not at a point where I want to upgrade my card, maybe on boxing day! lol

Neil, thats what I was doing, and it stilled lagged, So I put it up to full resolution and put quality to the max.

It wasnt even 1 little bit slower, try it, i think it makes the game soooooooo much better.
