To go along with the orbitz thread...does anyone remember when there was "Pepsi Clear" or whatever it was called back in the day?.. i thought it was good stuff...but it fell off the face of the earth.

Shit yea, I remember SNL did a skit on it, Crystal Gravy! I remember hearing Pepsi paid Van Halen huge bucks to use their Right Now song as the official song for the launch. I wonder how many heads rolled and how many dollars lost over at Pepsi for this debauchle!?

I preferred Pepsi Crystal. My fav right now is Pepsi Edge - I find it less sweet than normal pepsi and thats a good thing. Also it doesn't have that awful aftertaste like nutrasweet products.

i think i was like 10-11 if not younger when it came out.. i just remember i loved the stuff

Didnt know it had a chemical reaction with light though...thats pretty funny lol... i do think they should maybe try and bring something like that back. Something new besides this low calorie bullshit... im sick of the atkins low calorie no carbs crap...

crystal pepsi was also released because at the time people were finding needles in the dark pepsi bottles so that killed a lot of pepsi's sales. pepsi paniced and released "crystal pepsi" so it was clear and you could see if there was anything in it.

i thought it was around 92-93, either way i loved that stuff. now there is pepsi holiday spice to counter cokes glass bottle, good stuff, but i'd still take a crystal pepsi over it

crystal clear pepsi was good, too bad they took it off.. it came out when i was in grade 8.. so ummm.. around 1993.. haven't tried the new stuff since I rarely even drink pop anymore.

yup i definately wish they would bring it back.. i definately recall being pretty much addicted to it when i was younger..

the only stuff i drink now in terms of pop...is coke...and thats only when theres jack daniels mixed in it
