Default Deleting content in text boxes when you browse..

hey guys.. we have these computers at work that are for public use (boardrooms, meeting rooms etc etc). Anyways, you know how like, if someone goes to check their hotmail or googlemail (or even does a search on google.com.. ), most of the time, whatever this person types into the search/login box, it saves and is there when the next person types in their search/login criteria.

Is there any way to wipe that out?

I tried going to Tools->Internet Options and clearing the history as well as deleting the cookies, but that doesnt seem to do anything to the content in the boxes.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks in advance

    *Someone's searching pr0n on a work computer*

/In internet explorer or whatever browser you use, go into tools>internet options> in the General tab go to History and click Clear History

Also you should delete the Temporary Internet Files above History.

Don't even ask how I know this...

haha.. okay, thanks.. I'll try it a lil later.

We havent had anybody lookup anything innaproriate yet (one of the rooms is a boardroom with a projector display) but it seems alot of people treat the computers as their own computers by checking their email accounts and even bank transactions. We just didnt like the idea of people leaving their personal information in the content boxes.

    Thanks dude

Actually you need to to go to Tools-> Internet Options -> Content -> Click auto-complete button, then turn it off, and there's a button to clear the autocomplete history.
