Because it doesn't matter to me who a real driver is, and what ever constitutes being a "real" driver.

edit: Maybe a real driver is someone is courteous to other drivers, cautious in playground & schoolzones, drives without reckless regard for the safety of others, and most importantly understands they're not on a race track in a race car.

I don't think it matters, one's driving skill is based on how well they can control their vehicle, not just change gears. A 5spd does give the driver more control, and I wouldn't want anything other a 5spd, but that doesn't mean an auto driver isn't a real driver. Everything else is the same.
