Ford RS200 (56k warn.)

well i was pretty shocked to find out my friend (who is a big ford fan) never heard of the RS200, once i showed him some pics and some specs he got the same way i was when i first saw it... , whut do u guys think?









also the car push's almost 600hp with a small turbo engine and can go from 0-60mph in 3 seconds...

BTW, the guy who did it in 2.1 seconds is named "Stig Blomquist". Does anyone know if this is the same "Stig" that appears on Top Gear?

The RS200 is a wicked car. Tim Allen, huge Ford fan, owns one in his private collection.

The Stig on Top gear is a "secret" driver. Some say the current stig is Damon Hill, but nobody really knows.

on ultimate cars last night they said that the engine is only good for 10 hours at full throttle. It was the fifth best "road rally" car of all time.

great car if ubv got money, 150 000, which back then was an ass load more, and only 10 hours of full throttle before the 30 000 motor goes boom

I saw that too.... i thought it was such an awesome car until they said u only get 10 hours before a rebuild.

That's 10 hours when you are pumping out 1000+ hp out of a once 1.8L motor. The RS 200 motor is a cosworth derived BDT motor which is strong as hell. Most of them are tuned lightly from stock to a daily road going 300-400bhp.
