!! Help: Neck Strain !!

so today i was working out like i would do every other day but after i did a set of reverse tricep cable pulldowns..the back of my neck had a huge strain and i could barely move it. Now it really hurts but i can move it abit. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this and what i should do?

I was thinking of just taking some advil and resting.

Muscle relaxant, heating pad, massage and gentle stretching. Hope you feel better soon!

only thing i would add is laying down in a hot bath or hot tub so the water is around your neck - that should help it feel a lot better. and take it easy on the upper body excercises for a bit.
