Default How to remove crayon marks off wheels

Can anyone recommend a wheel product that will remove crayon markings off of the surface of a wheel? I had my all-seasons replaced with winter tires and I guess the technician marked the wheels RR, LR, etc. to remember which wheel was which. I've managed to wipe off most of it but there is still some stubborn marks that are hard to remove. I haven't tried scrubbing them yet for fear of damaging the finish of the wheels - any advice???

    Thanks.

    Default Found the solution: WD-40

After browsing other sites I found a thread where one guy found success using petroleum based solvents on clearcoat alloys. So I grabbed a bottle of WD-40 and lo and behold, right on the can it says that it removes crayon marks.

Long story short: WD-40 sprayed on the wheel + a bit of scrubbing using a soft cloth and voila! No more embedded crayon marks.
