i got pulled over in red deer the other night for missing a stop sign (I was only going about 20-30km/h cuz I was looking for something). As soon as I stopped, I flipped on some girly music and the cop let me off...even though I couldn't find my ins/reg....phew.

you also have a certain period of grace to present the valid information. I can't remember how many hours it is, but you can get the ticket voided if you do it in the time limit.

thats not true. i think that just has to do with the officer and whether or not hes lineant. but in drivers ed class, they said that there is no grace period required, its jus the officers choice
