Default WTB: Winter wheels and tires for 330 Ci ZHP

Hey guys, need winter tires and wheels for a 330 Ci M performance edition. I don't know if the brakes are bigger on that car or not.

    Prefer 17"

Steel wheels are cool too.. haha

The 16's won't fit our 330's, you need to get 17's at least. This is due to the size of our brakes.

e39 (540) wheels should not be used on e36/e46, even though they will bolt on. the bolt pattern (5x120) is the same but the hub is bigger on the e39. ie: the center hole is bigger on e39's so the wheel will not be hub-centered if you put an e39 wheel on an e36/46. even if you use hub-centering rings, offset is different too.

niterider, I will keep you in mind. The car is at a dealer in Vancouver. It should be here in the next couple of weeks.

I would really prefer 17s as the car will look like ass with 16s.

Maxboost is right, steelies will look dumb on a ZHP.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the ZHP? Is it an appearance package?

M perfomance edition. BMW's attempt to close the gap between the 330 and the M3.

10 more HP. short gearing. Front and rear air dams. Side skirts. Sport seats, interior trim. 18" double M spoke wheels.

There might be more... can't remember.

    You need 17" rim ...

    13" rotors yeah ....

Tunerworks got some good deal for E46 winter package .. I think around $1500 ? you get 17 " alloy, and good winter tires ..

Ask Rob to confirm it ..

e39 wheels will NOT fit e36/e46.
bolt pattern is the same for all bmws. except the offset is totally different from the e39 to e36/e46

No, all the e360's are 5x120.

The E30 is the only one that I can think of right now that isn't (unless you count the 2002's, etc)

The difference between 3series, 5series and 7series wheels are the offest and hub bore size. You can run the other wheels... you just need hubcentric rings.
