Wouldn't you care if you bought a car that was lower than advertised? Especially with such low mileage, out of province? That would work out to about 7-8k mileage per year...Originally posted by import_illusion

sounds like this guy owns a silver civic SIR... and wanted a blue one at the time of purchase ............. i have a strong suspicion he knows what he's talking about.Originally posted by silvercivicsir
Just to give you an FYI.. There is no such thing as a 2000, Blue Sir, in 2000 they only Came in Black, Red, And Silver.. so your friend's Car is actually made in 99.. [ assuming it's not a car from the States ]..
Trust me if they made a blue sir in 2000, I would of been the first one to buy one.. I can show you my 2000 honda civic Catalog if you want to see it..
Dont post unless you are interested in the car.

Easy way to solve this issue, have your friend look at the Door Jam and see what the date of Manufacture is.. it's it's 2000, i'll give you 20 bucks, cuz i know it's not.
It will most likely say something-99, that is just the date the vehicle was finished in the factory. The model and year are in the vin. We have 05 cars and its still 04? When you register a car you dont register it by the manufacture date, you register it by the vin.Originally posted by silvercivicsir

Holy take it easy with the rice trivia, it's only a color FREAK!!
Manufacture Date is... 3/00. That would be March 2000. So it is a late model 2000 Electron Blue Sir. $20 please.Originally posted by silvercivicsir

Free bump, mint car, and its defintly a 2000...
Friend of mine was really interested and checked the VIN.
^^^
And the plot thickens....

Thats not cool, shit like that should be disclosed.
So it's a US car that was in a front end wreck and got rebuilt?
the 2000 Si (US Model same as our SiR) doesn't have ABS nor heated mirrors. I have one of each, and realized after I bought the one from the US... about the ABS option.
According to that vehicle search it was. It's common to see written off cars coming up from the states.Even after purchase, shipping, fees, taxes and all paper work that you have to go through, its still can come out to a smoking deal.Originally posted by QuasarCav

YOU are wrong. There are no 2000 Electron Blue Civic SiR for Canada. You might as well pay up as well. It would have been easier of the seller in posting that the car is from US with a Junk and Salvage Title that has been recertified.Originally posted by ryder_23
