i recently got myself an eos 300D, and i've been trying to play with it in the past couple of days. unfortunately there are two things that are bothering me.
i haven't got the chance to shoot on daylight yet, but when i shoot inside our house, things are warmer, specially skin tone, even if i have my white balance set to "tungsten". things get worst if i just let the camera decide by leaving the setting to AWB. i also did a side by side comparison with my older camera, powershot S1 IS, and the latter is able to produce the right skin tone on "tungsten".
second, the rebel's upload speed is very slow compared to the powershot. i thought first it's because of the larger image the rebel can produce compared to the 3.2mb powershot. then i tried shooting on the rebel and moving the CF card to the powershot to upload from it, and the speed is 2 -4 times faster. is the rebel known for this slow upload performance?
any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
