my question is.. whats under the hood?
Submaker.Illest.
170HP Turbocharged I think.
Not Turbo, Supercharged. If you drive it, there is no mistaken the extra lound S/C whine. Fun cars.Originally posted by blinkme_210

Supercharged 4, 1.6L 163hp.
for around 1000€ you get 200-210hp
and yes, you can hear the whine pretty loud, even louder with air intake i heard.
lol i meant if it was stock or not. like the john cooper super charger or somethin like thatOriginally posted by blinkme_210

you can get 200-210hp for around 1000€, i need money badly.
its all stock for now.
Nice car! How do you like it so far? Good choice with the 16" wheels. If I could choose mine again, I would get the 16's, instead of 17's...
I've had my MCS for almost a year now. 20,000kms still super smooth, and problem free. Very fun car!
IMO, the JCW kit isn't worth the money. You can get a stage III 245hp kit for ~$4000.
I love it, bought it with 18 000km on the counter, 2003/01 build. I've driven around 1600-1700km and I really love it.
I was thinking about this and the 320Ci, worse guarantee because it was older, had like 50 000km on the counter and so on, for the same price.
After I bought the MINI it had to replace the frontwindow as agreed when I bought it, so I got a 320i Loaner car, and I'm really happy I got the MCS after that. big big big difference. positively for the MCS ofc.
the 16's were on when I bought it, not really my choice but hey they act as winter rims for now. If I could at least spec. the colors it would be red/white and white bonnet stripes.
JCW is robbing your ass on money.
It is common to replace the front window, very easy to get rock chips, etc. since it sits so upright.Originally posted by fj0

Go with light weight 16's as aftermarket wheels. Feels way better on the MINI.
For my 2nd MINI I'm planning to get Red as well.
nooooooo, I saw 20" on a MINI, thats too big
look look

I know that, those are my stock wheels, In black.
Maybe that post was a bit bad formulated.
No, I think they are the stock 16's painted black
I like em, 16 is a good size for that car.

i like the look of those wheels
