That place was great. Economically priced therapy if you ask me! LOL
YEEEEE HAAAA!!
Peter
what are the rates?
and what the hell are those huge ass machine pistols?
are they auto? semi?
That was an M4 Carbine, 9mm. and it shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger.
Range Pass at "The Shooting Edge", 30 dollars
Service Fee for High Powered Rifle, 10 dollars
5 boxes of ammo, 105 dollars
Spending 3 hours blasting the hell out of anything and everything that was in that range, Priceless...
There are somethings that money cant buy, for everything else, there's Payroll.

Don't forget that M16... LOTS OF FUN!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Peter
So for the 30 bucks + ammo, you can keep switching guns for whatever you like? With exception to the high powered rifles (unless you pay 10 service charge), is that right?
Man I've always wanted to do that...
Are you pretty much alone in there shooting, or are there other people watching or something?
There is always someone else in there with you for liability reasons. You would need to get your certified Restricted Firearms licence to go it alone.
Its so fun though, the guys that go into the range with you are very good. its not like they hold your hand for you and stuff, they just make sure you dont do stupid shit.

Yeah.. I bought a membership there... $400 and you don't have to pay the $30 range fee....
but, as a side note, I'd expect to spend at LEAST $50/hr there... an average box of 50 .45 caliber is $27.....
The .44 magnum / .357 are about $1 a shot...
even a 9mm is about $20 for 50....
and it doesn't take very long to get rid of 50 bullets.. plus targets are about $2...
still.. very fun.. ;-)
looks like fun! i have a lot of pent up anger...i uh...mean stress! to get rid of! i should give it a shot! =)

You sound like the type of guy who would buy a C-Class just so you could tell people you have a Benz.
We can get discounts through our social club at work, been thinking about going to check it out some time. Mmmmm ammo
Drag racing is for fast cars. Solo 2 is for fast drivers.

Anyone watch that "malcolm in the middle" where the father rents a bulldozer so he can smash whatever he wants? Same kinda thing!
hahahaa yeah szw that episode was on a few weeks ago.. haha.
I miss the old "Firing Line" That place was the coolest. $130 for the year, the owner was a bonified collector, as were a few staff.
What that meant was you could go in there and shoot restricted and grandfathered guns (fully autmoatic machine guns).....all you had to do was buy the ammo. I shot hella cool guns there... Mac 10, Sterling, AUG, REAL M16, real AK 47 etc.... ahh the good old days. Ever seen a REAL "Street Sweeper" ? It was a fully auto shotgun made in South Africa that had a drum cylinder for the shells.....SCARY.
They also sold reloads, so you could get 50 9mm or .45 for $9...
I gave up shooting when they started restricting all the good stuff, limited magazine capacities, and when my 9mm Ruger P85 was stolen.....
