I need a job!!

I am taking next semester off to save for a new car. I need a job with 40 or more hours a week. I will work whenever since I am available 24/7. I am in the SW, so something close preferably. Can anyone help me out?

PS: Data entry or entry level office positions would be wicked. I can type 60 wpm.

I think superstore is hiring at 7.50 - 8.50 an hour. DON'T WORK IN PRODUCE... WORST JOB EVER!!! (unless you like dumping 1000 of lbs of rotten food in the garbage compressor)

its really hard to get a good job by just applying the regular way...try and find some hookups...talk to your parents and if they know ppl...shit like that...posting on beyond is a good idea too

i'm going to be working at my dad's office in the summer.
my job will consist of stapling things together and hole punching paper...going out for lunch and then taking the rest of the day off to shop..hehe.

superstore is hiring yes, depends on ur location but shawnessy is looking for people, being a cashier is really easy and you pick the hours you want to work

Being a cashier at superstore is easy? the couple times I've been into a superstore the lineups have always been 15people long, it looks so hectic in there...

My friend used to be a cashier at superstore, and he found the customers to be extremely rude at times. Oh well, it'd be cool to be the rollerblading dude though.

I know I am too skilled, and have the experience to work better jobs than Mcdicks and Fast food. However I guess I might have to take mininmum wage if there's nothing better. So I am stuck until April when I do my summer work. So rather than losing 4 month that I could be making atleast 6 dollars an hour....

I cant do my summer job, I already talked to my boss. He only needs me when his full-timers go on summer vacation.

I appreciate the suggestions though, and the experiences.

Hey Hokus, I think Luciano's on Macleod trail (near the Boston pizza) needs front of the house people. PM if you need more specific information. I am not sure if this interests you, but a lot of bus boys from Outlaw's quit apparently. You can make rad tips but you have to work on the weekend.

Outlaws is a bar/club, or whatever you want to call it. You bassically get 6 bucks an hour to walk around picking up other people's bottles/cups, hit people with a large tupperware container, push people out of the way, check out hot girls and listen to groovy music.

It's also in close proximity to Heritage or Chinook station so getting there is easy if you dont have a car.

Tip out is damn good too! So dont worry about the low wage

I know you've been a waiter and worked your way up and stuff. But this is a good 2nd job. If you want me to browse the paper for server/waiter positions it takes like 3 minutes and I dont mind doing it in the mornings. Just let me know what area you're moving into (ex. SW).
