Default FS: AthlonXP CPU, mobo and 512 mb RAM

AMD Athlon XP 2100+ CPU with Thermalright SLK-700A heatsink and Coolermaster 80mm quad blue LED fan (32 cfm - 25 dba)

The motherboard is an MSI K7N Delta-L - Nforce2 Ultra400 chipset with dual channel

    http://www.hw.by/images/K7N2/_board.jpg

Motherboard initially bought March 23, 2004 but it packed it in and MSI replaced it June 28, 2004. Regardless, I have the paperwork and there's still warranty on the board till March 23, 2006.

CPU is a Thoroughbred 'B' and is currently set up to run at Athlon XP3200+ clock speed - 200 x 11 @ 1.70 volts. If you use the heatsink and fan that I am including in this setup, it is cool, quiet and will run stable at this speed in a normal case. Stable means being able to run Prime95 for days and days. Alternatively, you can choose to run the CPU at 166 x 13 (XP 2700+ speed) with 1.65v or leave it stock 133 x 13 @ 1.6v. CPU is retail boxed and should have at least a year and a half of warranty left on it.

Everything is very clean and new looking. The heatsink and fan are in pristine condition and hardly have much use on them.

Have motherboard box, manual, CDs, receipts, etc.

Asking $150 obo for everything. If purchased, will throw in 1 x 512 mb PC3200 RAM for an extra $60 bringing the total to $210 obo. RAM will not be sold separately. Thank you.

At the moment, I'm not willing to part anything out unless I find a buyer for the individual items (heatsink+fan, motherboard, CPU).

Way overpriced. CPU is old, they don't even make them anymore, the warranty is no good if you overclock a chip. Mobo has limitations on upgrades, fans are cheap.

I could go buy a NEW stick of high quality Kingston 512mb PC3200 RAM for $160.

Yes, overclocking does void the warranty, if they find out and yes the chip is old, but they certainly do make it still. It's just under a different name - it's called a Sempron now. The Sempron 2500+ is an Athlon XP Throroughbred B core running @ 1743 mhz, which is relatively close to the 1729 mhz that this chip runs at stock.

FYI, The RAM I'm including is a stick of 'high quality' Kingston 512mb PC3200 that has lifetime warranty that you say you can get for $160. So for $70 more, you're getting a CPU, motherboard that still sells for $100 at Memory Express and a Thermalright SLK700 heatsink and a fan. Doesn't seem like such a bad deal to me if you look at it that way. Just so you know, you can get your RAM new for $99 if you look hard enough.

BTW, please review the forum rules:

Specifically, the 10th one on the list. Thank you.

    ^^

From your post it sounds like you are willing to throw in the ram for an EXTRA $230... You may want to reword it...

I would be willing to make an offer on everything but the chip.
