Default Just got my windows tinted... quick question....

just got the car back from icon window tinting yesterday and its frickin sweet, except for the fact that there is "glare" or "distortion" i guess along the defroster lines.... the defroster lines light up when a car is behind me, does that make any sence

    so is this normal?

Sounds like they haven't completey applied it aroudn the defroster lines because it should run along with them, take it back and say you want the rear redone becuase along the defroster lines they screwed up and it didn't adhease well to the window. The way it should look when its done is the tinting should be tight up against the defroster lines so that it looks like the defroster lines are overtop the tint, u can't even make out that they aren't, thats the way it should be done.

    Yo,

I had the same problem, It will go away after a couple of days. Damion said all flaws and things shoould be completely gone in a couple of weeks. Besides, their work has lifetime warrenty for that shit so if its still there in a couple of weeks, bring it back.

    But mine did go away.

Yea it went all away all the spots and waves etc are gone for me now. My buddy got the exact same tint as mine from ICON also and told me that his were really dark too but after awhile it will lighten up to the way its supposed to be. Mine is still looking a little dark but I've noticed it got lighter already. I drove up right beside 1/2 a dozen Police cruzers and they didn't care.....yet.....

We're gonna have like twin cars man..... hahah

Yup mugen lip, not in CF though. Mugen grill (replica not CF) one day I'll get the CF hood and mugen wing (not CF either). So pretty close to your car....hehe. Bronze wheels.??? Not sure yet.

in my 240sx my rear windows are distorted because of the tint but it would only appear at night when cars have their headlights on. it wasn't a big deal, pretty much got used to it.
