Honestly man, I know you seem to be leaning towards ATI cards, but this is an unbeatable deal on a Geforce GT6600, one of the fastest cards on the market (top 5 I would think overall)
only $250+shipping+taxes

Both great value, however if you have the cash buy the 6600GT, one of the only cards able to handle Doom III at its full potential
