Sure it's a sturdy block but you're pushing your luck asking for 500HP on a stock block. But what are your goals? Are you looking for a 11 second timeslip? A dyno queen? Or a fast car that happens to make a lot of power that can also put it down to the ground effectively. Honestly I don't see why the infatuation with a specific number (400HP) is more important than what you want out of the car. It has lots of potential as is, just by putting a real turbo on it with some suspension mods to finish the package.

no. not reliably, 400hp max on the 2g 7 bolt. and you'll grenade the stock trans. if your going to play with the big boys it going to cost you like 10,000 bucks and that's still not going too crazy
