Yeah, Jt 's is in Bowness. It's a bike wrecker/used parts place. Every single person I've talked to that has gone there hates the place and the owner...

Subject: 68 St. N.W. Building Fire
    From: John Conley

    -----BEGIN MD5 -----------------------------------

    -----------------------------------------------------------------
CITYBEAT - CITY OF CALGARY PRESS RELEASE
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

The Calgary Fire Department was called out this morning at
0915 hours along with EMS and CPS for reports of a building
    fire located at 3131 - 68 St. N.W.

Upon arrival of Fire Crews from #15 Station, there was smoke
showing on the exterior of the building and Firefighters were
alerted to the fire inside of the building by occupants who
escaped without injury. The fire started in a mechanical bay
of a radiator shop where a vehicle was being worked on. It
appears that there was flammable fuel in the area around the
vehicle that came in contact with an ignition source that
started the fire. The original call came in from the
occupants of the shop as a vehicle fire inside the building.
Due to the flammable materials and the fuel load inside, the
fire was burning intensely upon arrival. The bay of origin
was one of three bays in the building and although there was
a brick fire wall between the bays, they shared the same roof
beams. The fire eventually extended into the second bay which
housed a motorcycle shop that contained a significant fire
load and more flammable fuels. Fire Crews were successful in
stopping the fire before it affected the third bay. The third
bay was two stories and had a full brick fire wall separating
it from the other bays. It also had a suite on the second
floor where two residents were safely evacuated from.

Prior to the fire extending into the motorcycle shop, due to
the intensity of the fire and the possibility of extension,
the incident commander called in a second alarm to provide
additional staff to battle the blaze in the extremely cold
conditions. The Fire Department had 14 rigs with 38
Firefighters on scene with no injuries to report. The cold
temperatures are always tough on Firefighters and equipment,
however, the conditions did not significantly hamper fire
    fighting operations.
Due to the extreme cold, EMS set up a rehab centre for Fire
Crews in a building next door to the fire to monitor their
    health.

Upon preliminary investigation by the FPB Investigator, as a
result of the inventory in both bays in combination with the
significant fire loss to the structure, the fire loss will be
    in excess of $4 million.
