She then taunts me with "I thought you said this car was fast", giving me a devilish smirk. "You just got beat by a truck. In Texas!", she adds.
ahhhh the lightning, today's closest vehicle to a muscle car. Weighs tons, has gobs of torque from a small block V8 and leaf spring rear suspension.
But lets see which vehicle could rip around a snowy turn safely, the S4 or the Lightning

doesnt have leefs
its struts in the back
The lightning has a 5 leaf spring suspension under a solid rear axle, they do not have struts.Originally posted by 300rwhp

Yah, no trucks to my knowledge came with IRS. The only pick up suspensions I've seen out back (in the past 20 years of production) are leaf springs or torsion bars.Originally posted by ninspeed

No, lots of SUVs have IRS now, the only ones that are still based off of pickup trucks are the larger domestics (yukon, suburban, dakota, exped etc) and the xterra... Maybe the seqouia, i'm not sure.Originally posted by FiveFreshFish
