Thanks Gary, I'll check that. I figured that they were doing something sneaky like that, I just didn't clue into using the cold temp input. A few quick questions. The on/off switch, is this just a disable switch? (The install manual didn't define it.) If the alarm remote doesn't directly control the remote starter, I am guessing that I have to buy a remote to change the remote starter programing? The alarm must be tied in to the small yellow wire on the smaller harness of the remote starter.
If you pule that wire (yelloe) to ground, the remote starter should cycle and start the car.
If not, disconnect the hoodswitch to see if that is the issue. If it still does not start, check the on/off switch for continuity.
That is a good start for diagnostics.
