Ive been reading some Dan Brown books lately and love em. Ive read "Da Vinci code" and "Angels and Demons" and thought both were great books, Im about to start another one that I got for my Birthday "Deception Point" so I cant really comment on it. But yea I recomend those two.

You know what, I'm such a ricer. More form than function, oversized exhaust, Japanese engine, and if I put the tailgate down it kind of acts as much like a wing as the picnic table wings the fast and furious guys are bolting to their cars.
yeah, it took me almost two week to read it considering it took me 3 months for The Hobbits, a year for LOTR Trilogy, 2 months for Memoirs of a Geisha, 2 months for Battle Royale, 1 month for Les Miserables and Around the World in 80 Days, 4 weeks for Divine Comedy: HellOriginally posted by chunger_11

^^ those are my favourite books
currently im reading Bourne Ultimatum
If you like crime novels with interesting character development and interesting plots twists, read up some of Elmore Leonard's novels. Many of his books get made into movies like "Out of Sight", "Jackie Brown" (Rum Punch), "Get Shorty", to name a couple you might be familiar with.
I also like Mario Puzo's novels, the author of The Godfather. My favorite novels by him are "The Sicilian" and "The Family", which both are actually based on real people and real events (which I didn't know until after I read them). I've read them all and they're all pretty good except for a couple.
Is that the third installment of the "Bourne" series or are they totally unrealted?Originally posted by cityhunter2501

If so, is the movie based on the book or vice versa?
hmm, you just reminded me of "Omerta" - by Mario Puzo, which I haven't read in awhile. I found the plot to be pretty interesting.Originally posted by D'z Nutz

2 Weeks? Took my 2 days to read it. I wanted it, but I bought it for my brother for Christmas. They were out of town until Christmas which gave me 2 days to finish it before I gave it to him.Originally posted by cityhunter2501

ANYTHING by Paulo Coelho, he's an AMAZING author. Especially his book called "The Alchemist"
I got hooked on him in high school and now I try to get my friends to read him too. Highly recommended!
"Omerta" was good, but "The Family" and "The Sicilian" had me pissed at the end cause I of the way they ended! When you get emotional with a book, you know it's good! Hahaha!Originally posted by t-im

I got the illustrated edition of Da Vinci Code for Christmas - very good book. There are some glaring historical errors but as long as you don't take it too seriously it's all in good fun.
I have all the Dirk Pitt books - glad to see someone else likes them. James Bond eat your heart out.
