I agree. Beyond has a nice long subject bar so it doesn't hurt anything like some boards, but the FS/WTB are kind of standard and easier to scan IMO.

Could you perhaps put a manditory radio button option in the "new thread" script (with WTB or FS as options) that automatically puts FS or WTB at the beginning of every thread? That seems to be the root of the problem.

yea maybe in the marketplace only allow FS WTB or WTT

having the full words sorta makes things look cluttered and less organized IMO....

i find that some people don't write FS or WTB at the beginning on the thread title and it seems as though beyond lies about how they'll close its thread down if they don't.

You're right. We did lie. We're starting to delete them now.

(Although I don't delete them, as long as they specify whether the thread is a "For sale" or "Want to buy" thread, not necessarily the acronyms.)

Just to let you know, we have life too, it would be best if no one make that mistake at all. That way it wont be deleted and people wont complain so much.

we lie. We have just been a bit lenient in terms of enforcing that rule but as of now it is zero tolerance, lots of threads have been deleted everyday because of that rule violation. The moderating team just wants to make it easier for people searching for items to buy.
