    Question Restaurant downtown equal to earls?

    just looking for some restaurants downtown that are like the equivalent in price and classyness lol if thats a word to earls, something diffrent though that ive never heard of, please give some suggestions

    Try the Metropolitan Grill on 8th. Better "talent" and right across from the Stephen Ave Earls.

    However, it is quite busy and I am not sure if they take reservations or not.

    Embarcaderos right next door to that has awesome oysters. It's the only place so far I've found in Calgary that carries my favourite oysters: kushi (mmMmmm)

    Milestone's aint too bad. I haven't tried the one in Calgary, but it looks to be similar to all the other ones outside the province.

    I agree, most over rated place to eat next to Boston Pizza. $9 for spinach salad and have a fresh piece of hair in it everytime? no thanks

    I used to know alot of people working at many locations and even they all admitted the place blew. You dont want to know what goes on in the kitchen...

    Even the met isnt any better.

    But for EDs though! Very original!

    I agree, Earls is right in there with the other unoriginal mass market chain restaurants like Moxies, Cactus, Joey's and Milestones (which is a little better). And people only go to some of those for the waitresses or that one good dish they make.

    I don't know how many friend's birthday dinners I've had at those 5 restaurants. Make it stop!

    i find Fuel right next to Earls on Bankers to be equal. Cuz they are the same company?

    Ya Earls and Fuel is same company, and they both stink! I dont see why everyone goes nuts for the girls there. I have seen many avg or just ugly girls working there. I would never go to a place just for that, thats sad. I got better things to do.
