    Default What looks better?

1.lowered car with stock rims("15 decent ones)
    2.stock height with bigger rims("17)

Based on the fact I dont have the money to do both right away, what looks better?, which should i try to do first? its on an MR2,so the car is already low to begin with. , but im thinkin with new rims, it might looked jacked up. like Sexualbanana's car before he got springs:p

Bigger rims with lower profile tires will definately give you that SUV look. If I were you I'd wait to get both done at the same time. Good things come to those who wait

Definatly, you will have to get springs regardless of what tires you get...

Get bigger wheels - The stock ones don't look that good - or instead of that, get a 15" wheel and lowering springs - you can have the best of both. If thats not possible, get the wheels. They will fill the gap better and they will look good.

I'd go with the 17"s first as the wheels do make the car. As the mr2 aren't too high to begin with the wheel gap is actually gonna be quite tolerable. My friend has a white early model mr2 with 17" enkei wheels and stock height and it looks much cleaner than if it had stock wheels and lowered.

i would have to agree with Gspot...wait until you can afford both...you obviously want 17's and you obviously want to lower your car, so don't waste your money on something you don't want. i've done it quite a few times and it sucks when you have to repurchase a part.

Hmmm, i think i might go with some smaller rims, maybe 16's, but most likely 15's. The car is already incredibly low, like sexualbanana said, it barely clears curbs. so just for convience sake i think i might just scratch the lowering now. and get some really nice 15's, like something real light wieght( for solo 2, and the 1320 in mind later. Thanks.
