240sx Caliper is permanently compressed

I changed the ebrake cable on my 240sx, and it seems as though the driver side caliper is now permanently compressed. I can get it on and off the rotor, but once its on the rotor won't move. Any ideas on how to make the rotor start moving again, and hook the ebrake on as well?

You most likely have to adjust your e-brake cable(s) from the handle....You'll either have both cables connected to the e-brake handle or just a single cable. There should be two nuts attaching the cable(s) to a plate. Loosen off the first nut quite a bit, then start loosening off the 2nd nut until your e-brake activates the e-brake properly and the handle is at the right height.

it is a single cable. do u mean the plate that is under the car, where it splits into two cables? or a plate inside the car closer to the handle?

Many rear calipers have screw in pistons, and you'll need a tool to spin them back out...
